CHA-CHING!!!

I feel just like this guy, but only blacker, LOL!!

Just a couple of minutes ago, I was on bankofamerica.com just to check and see how much money I had in my account because i got paid yesterday. Being that I only work weekends now, I knew that my check wasn't be that much considering, but I wanted to see how much i had any way. Well I opened up my account to see a whopping 4 digits in it, that's a whole digit extra than what I was expecting to see. It turns out that I got my tax refunds yesterday as well courtesy of Mr. Barnwell. Now my head is kinda hurting because its overloaded with thoughts of things that I wanna buy (T.V., clothes, shoes, games, rims and audio system for the whip, a personal refrigerator, more clothes and shoes and even a prostitute.... SHIIII'D, LMFAO). I feel sooo good right now, it's almost like waking up late in the afternoon after a looong night, if you know what I mean... I might just need to save it all though for later as a backup or something. We'll see how long I can fight temptation...

Just as I suspected...

"Due to circumstances beyond my control...the album roll out has changed radically...LUPE.N.D. has been postponed indefinitely!!!
As a matter of fact consider it cancelled until further notice!!!"

I guess thats like a trend for successful artists, just make niggas wait for your shit, huh??

But...

He's actually coming out with an ablum in June entitled "The Great American Rap Album" It consists of 11 tracks and the only track he's confirmed was the last track on the ablum, which is entitled "the greatest rap song ever made". With a title like this, I hope he doesn't disappoint, and more importantly, I hope this album is not just a "filler" or just some shit that he throws out without any effort to try to keep the audience satisfied until LUPE.N.D., but Lupe hasn't failed me yet...
I guess we'll have to wait til June.

No Pain, No Gain

Last night before I went out to wild wings, I went to Target to get the perfect push-up. I tested it this morning after eating some PB&J and it works good. I'm tryna stay active, but gain weight and tone up the body frame before it get hot and keep it maintained for here on out. This is a part of my new years resolution and I just started on it tuesday (Jan. 27) by almost killing myself by running. See, I figured, being that I am kinda skinny that I wasn't that much outta shape so I decided to take a jog around my neighborhood, not realizing how big the shit was. After like 7-10mins of running, i found myself sitting on the curb about 150feet away from my house, wheezing and shit, LMFAO!! Along with exercising, I'm taking a health class and right now I have an assignment that involves me looking up what diets you shoud take if you wanna gain weight, lose weight or maintain in general and for me specifically. Also, from today to sunday, I have to record what I eat and how much calories that I take in and find out whether if I'm taking in too much or not enough so this class, to me, is very beneficial.

Do What You Love

This song that I've just posted is entitle "Do what you love" by Charles Hamilton. I think this song is refreshing and I'm kinda infatuated with the chorus..

("love what you do and do what you love")

I always think a lot when I'm listenin to this song too, not necessarily about the song, but about what I love to do... Drawing. In fact, any form of art, whether it may be drawings, paintings, poetry, music, dance and etc., is like my life and I almost gave up on it!! See, after i graduated from highschool, I had the option to go in one of two directions, either the art world or the business world, which i kinda like too because of the math. I really wanted to go in the art direction, but I wasn't for sure what I wanted to do in that area and I know that there isn't a guarantee that I would get a high-paying job straight outta college, which was gonna be SCAD had i took that path. I just knew that I wanted to draw, but SCAD is way too expensive to be unsure on what you wanna be once you get out, you know? So now I'm on the business path, majoring in accounting and for a while, I had put down the HB, 2B and the 4B pencils and picked up the calculator until two girls on two different occassions approached me and asked me for a favor...

They heard that i was a pretty good artist and saw some of my work and both asked me to draw them up a tattoo and around this I wanted a tat bad as well so I say to them "ok", no big deal. But after thinking about it, having someone approach you and ask you to draw something for them so that they could potentially place it on their body for the rest of their lives is pretty dope. I started watching shows such as Miami Ink and LA Ink (reality shows about tattooists) and through those shows, I knew the purpose of tats and why people from all walks of life got them and I'm not even gonna mention how I feel about tats being on the female body O_0, lol. Suddenly, the light bulb above my head brightened...

I know what wanna do now!!!

I figure, if I could draw a tat on a piece of paper, why not on skin? But the plan is, imma still major in accounting, but imma minor in art so i can keep my skills sharp. Over the summer in 2010, I'm gonna intern for a company like DELL or MAC or some major company to develop a relationship so when i get out of college, I'll at least have a job in my pocket. While having that job, I will be going through the proper procedures to getting my license like aquiring my health license and shit of that nature. If all goes well after a few years of experience and with the skills that I develop in the business world, I will ultimately open my own tattoo parlor. So I guess, in the words of 50 Cent...

"I got a lot of living to do before I die and I ain't got time to waist... so let's make it"

Got Ups???

So I was watchin ESPN when i saw this...

in case you dont know who that is, that was Adrian Wilson (CB of the Arizona Cardinals) and he just cleared a 66' hurdle. Oh yea, shout out to them playin Juvenile (Back dat azz up) in the background, lol. But yea, he's got more ups than Vince Carter, Jordan any body u can name. in fact, that was the 2nd highest jump in the WORLD, and the guy who holds that record name is... well, what-do-ya-know, is Javier, which is spanish for Xavier (Mi Nombre) and the jump is 93'

Class Schedule

Im beginning my 3rd week of class and so far school has been runnin smoothly i should say. i think i should introduce my classes and professors to u..

11:00am - 11:50am (MWF) - American History:
At first, i was thinkin that this coarse would be boring as shit, but i've discovered that if you have a good professor, it really dont matter. This guy Professor Hales is a cool guy mainly because he's not teaching dat bullshit history about Columbus finding America and shit dat old ass white people want us to know. He curses like a sailor, in fact, he's the reason how i know where the word "Motherfucker" comes from (dat'll be on a later post). I always leave his class having learned something new. I've never thought dat i be hyped to go to a history.

1:00pm - 1:50pm (MW) - Health
Now, I've had health classes before in high school and those were classes that i would look up and write definitions, but this class is not like those classes. We actually have class discussions about health that are INTERESTING. This class goes on for 50mins, but for some reason, Prof. Dyson always come 9-10mins late. i guess thats a good thing (the less time of class, the better). But yea, i think imma get a definite A.

2:00pm - 2:50pm (MWF) - American Literature
When i first signed up for this class, i just knew it was gonna be boring and after attending this class, it definitely lives up to my low expectations of it.... thats all i can say about this class, lol

2:30pm - 3:45pm (Tues-Thurs) - Accounting 2
This class is basically a sequel to the accounting class i took last semester and i have the same professor. I really gotta stay afloat with this class because this is what im majoring in. The professor is good, the way she teaches it, its like... u get it, but thing is, u gotta constantly read and go over chapters 2-3 times. Its real demanding, but i think i got it.

6:00pm - 8:00pm (Thurs) - African American History
Man.... I'm glad i only have this class once a week, but then again its not all that bad. besides my history class on MWF, i get the biggest vibe in this class. it contains about 60 people. i think the vibe all starts from the professor, he's a real up-beat guy, which he has to be to entertain the students, especially at 6 at night for 2 hours. the upside to ending a class late is that i get invited to late activities on campus, where my fellow peers are most "loose".

This semester should be aight, nothing too stressful if i keep pushin

Its Reeeeaally About To Be Official Now

This morning, i woke up with a smile on my face as if it was my birthday or christmas again and i was expecting to get a brand new car or a billion dollars or some shit of that nature, but no, today is the day of the inauguration of "president-elect" Barack Obama.

Now being that i go to a HBCU and i got class today, i will hearin this song all day on campus...

Jeezy quote: "It's a 'hands-off' policy, yall touch him, WE RIDE" Simple-n-Plain

now if u think this song is dope (like i do), check the remix live at a D.C club over the inauguration weekend, featuring none other than HOVA. He really shut that shit down. Maan, i wish i was there

"No More War, No More Iraq,
No More White Lies Cuz Now My President Is BLACK!!!!"

and as a tribute to him i will be stylin with this shirt

Super Bowl Prediction (Revised, lol)

After having the representative for the NFC in going to the Super Bowl incorrect, i had to switch up my predictions, but first off lemme say this...

Arizona Cardinals?... realy??? hmmm, i guess thats why they play the game.

back to the predictions. i've watched the Cardinals for the past 3 games and here's what i've observed:
1. They like to run the screen (that's how they defeated the PHI)
2. They've developed a great run defense (that's how they defeated ATL and CAR)
3. Kurt Warner has been gettin his "Peyton Manning" on (that is, he's been knowin where the blitzes are comin from and been deliverin the ball to the open receiver)
4. Larry Fitzgerald has been steppin up (BIG TIME)
5. Arizona has unleashed the Edge (as in Edgerin James)

Now with that said, will that be enough to defeat pittsburg??

I don't think so...

They don't call Pittsburg's defense the "Steel Curtain" for nothin, they literally hit you in the mouth and while Kurt Warner has been picking apart defenses as of late, they have been only 4-3 defenses. Pittsburg has a 3-4 defense which means that they're more quicker and relentless.

But...

Ken Whisenhunt was, once opon a time, the offensive coordinator for the Steelers so he does kinda knows that defense, but i still don't think it'll be enough.

Score: Steelers come out victorious 28-24

Who am i rooting for: Steelers (young black coach)

In Desperate Need of a Laugh??

Watch this fail

Hi, i'm chuck storm and i'm about to be... the news, lmao

Mac-5 Wilds Out (Hello)

After McNabb scrambles x-amount of yards to end up on the Giant's sideline, he taunts them by pickin up their phone pretending to talk on it. Knowing the NFL, they will give Mcnabb like a $15000-$30000 fine. I guess you can't have fun anymore...

Superbowl Predictions:

Eagles - Steelers: It's a toss up, but whoever wins, they'll win by 3

or

Eagles - Ravens: Eagles win by 10

Man.... Keith Brooking Sucks!!!!

For those of you who watched the Falcons-Cardinals playoff game last week probably think that im just saying this because he made a dumbass play that costed the falcons the game, but he's been doing those plays for the last 5+ years. You can make an argument by saying that he's always the leading tackler of the falcons... Yea he tackles, but he doesn't make plays! like, if the opponent is on 3rd down with 3yds to go and they run the ball, he would let the RB run 7-8yds before tackling him, giving the opponent the 1st down. Just check his stats for this year... yea the commentators go on and on about him making 102 tackles, but what they dont tell you that only 71 of those tackles are solo tackles; the rest are just assist. None of them are sacks and none of them are tackles for losts. he didnt cause any fumbles nor did he have any interceptions. a player that performs this poorly should either not be a leader of the team, or be on the bench or just be off the team altogether. i know the man has played football his whole life in georgia, but he is a liability to the atlanta falcons and honestly, i dont want him to come back next year
