Blazers Now Available/ May 09 Release

Available NOW courtesy Proper:

These Blazers are a tribute to the man who broke the color-barrier in baseball/sports... Jackie Robinson. This pack contains three different colorways,
varsity red/white,
dark grey/white, and
court blue/white,
with each featuring a smooth suede upper and some swirling white designs. Each shoe has several letter B’s imprinted on the sides and the word “Brooklyn” stitched on the tongues, which stand for Jackie’s old team, the Brooklyn Dodgers.

Available May 09 courtesy Nike SB Sole:

Nike SB has released their latest Blazer Hi. We all like the recent Blazers from the Nike SB collection, mostly because they use nice materials, solid colors and sport overall classic looks. This one comes in a red suede/black colorway and clean white sole.

I'm Fiending for all the Jackie Robinson's, but I like blue ones the most and the only ones I've found thus far is the dark grey ones on Ebay so now I'm on a hunt. I think it's a good look for Nike for unleashing this collection

I plan to cop those Classic Style Blazers as well next month if ever I come across them, but I'll definitely be looking for them

Dat Kid From Cleveland

There's been alotta hootin-n-hollerin about this mixtape. Some say its good, some say it sucks, some say its da shyt while some say its a bad follow up to "A Kid Named Cudi".

Me?

Well, just like Cudi's first mixtape, I can put "Dat Kid From Cleveland" in the CD player in the whip and just let it ride.

With these two mixtapes and with his ablum dropping on August, 25th, he is quickly climbling on top of my list of favorite artists.

Epic WIN Of The Day

Ok, so by now, I'm pretty we've all seen that Heineken commercial where the ladies scream for joy for the walk-in closet of shoes and the guys are screaming for the walk-in refrigerator of Heineken, right? Well in case you haven't here it is....

Pretty funny, right?

Well the Cleveland Cavaliers decided to do a parady of this, Check it out...

LMFAO!!!

Both are funny as hell, but I can relate more to the Cav's version because, for one, I don't drink..... [BEER] and I can just see myself and some of my homeboys wildin out over a big ass room full of fly kicks (J's, Vans, Blazers, SB's, Shelltoes, force 1's and 2's, Chucks, and the list goes on)

So, just felt like sharing this...

P.S: Lol at the sports reporter who shakes his head at the end. He just had that look like, "damn, niggas ain't got no sense" LOL!
and to his reference to the Lakers... Naw, the Cavs are gonna runaway with it this year.

Wired For This Sh#t

For the past month or so, my dream profession is basically all I think about and all I, well, dream about which caused me to do some research on it to see what it really takes to be a tattoo artist. I came across this web article that I've grown to love because it doesn't tell me what I want to hear, what I need to hear like...

1st: Money & Fame
If you think tattooing is a get-rich-quick dream, you need to snap back to reality because you are only seeing one tiny part of the big picture. There is a lot of money that has to be invested into running a successful, safe, clean, sterile and professional tattooing business. There's a lot of shit you have to pay for like..

An autoclave sterilizer, which can cost thousands of dollars by itself
High quality tattoo machines
Power supplies
Medical equipment
And Sanitation supplies

All of this adds up significantly, not to mention the insurance, licenses and other legal red tape that can break the bank before you even get started. So, if you’re in this for the money, you’re gonna be S.O.L. If you do not love, and I do mean LOVE, the art of tattooing and would not be willing to do it for free, then don’t waste your time even trying to get in.

The desire for fame is just as ridiculous a motivation for becoming a tattoo artist as money is. Yea there are a few people in the tattoo world that are considered famous. Well they didn’t get into this business for the purpose of fame, either, and the reason it happened upon them is because they EARNED it. They worked their asses off, dedicating every drop of sweat to the art and they eventually got recognized for it because of that dedication.

2nd: Skillz
SO you like to draw and your mom says you do wonderful work. Your friends all tell you that you should be an artist. Even your teachers tell you that you have real potential. Does that make you a candidate for becoming a tattoo artist? Maybe, but don’t get your hopes up too high. You think you got skillz?

Well... Let’s talk about skill.

Right now, there are so many people out there tattooing that in some cities there are literally tattoo shops on every corner and a lot of these artists are creating some bomb-ass tats. If you don’t have what it takes to either match or exceed the quality of your competition, then you have no business being in this business.

Tattooing isn’t about tracing stencils anymore – it’s about creating art.

And not just any art. there is a big difference between the ability to draw and the ability to crank out a work of art under pressure.

3rd: Worth Doing
Ever hear the saying, “Anything worth doing is worth doing right (or well)”? Well, the same thing goes for learning the art of tattoo. Being an artist on paper is one thing – being an artist on skin is another. But before you can be a tattoo artist, you need to learn the other aspects of working in a tattoo studio. You need to...

learn how to clean
how to prevent cross-contamination
how to sterilize your equipment
what can be sterilized and what has to be tossed
how to safely protect your equipment
and how to properly dispose of contaminated materials

Warning: If you don’t care about any of these things, then you damn well had better not want to be a tattoo artist because you will have someone’s blood on your hands... literally

4th: Dedication
desire alone would not be enough to make it in the tattoo world. Desire is wanting, but it’s not doing. What you need is a dedication that inspires you to action, and enough dedication to stick with it for the long term. This is not a get-rich-quick scheme; it’s an art form. Some painters become famous and get rich from it, but most don’t and all do it for the love. The same goes with tattoo artists. If you love it so much that you would be willing to do whatever it takes to become a competitive artist with a honed talent, then you are certainly on the right road. If you love the art so much that you would be willing to do it for free, then I wish you all the success in the world.

As for me, Money and Fame is cool and all good but that's very low on my list of reasons why i wanna do this. Have you ever wanted to do something because it just feels right (naw i aint talkin bout sex, get'cha mind outta the gutta) and it just feels like it's made for you or that you're made for it? Well that's how it is for me. Nothing else really matters. I just wanna learn this technique and prosper in this work of art, maybe even become the best at it because for some reason, I love competition when it comes to art. This is all I got for now, but there with be a part 2 to give you the rundown on the process of becoming an artist of this nature

A Possible 1st Tat (Rough Draft)

So I was surfing the web (as usual) looking at tattoo designs for ideas to draw up my own shit when i came across this site Tattoofinder.com which has a wide-range of tats. the down side to it is that if you was to find a tat that you are interested in, you can't just print it out or copy and paste it, you gotta pay for it...

BULLSHIT!!!

I came across this 8-point star with a pisces symbol (My sign) in the middle of it. It looked aight, but it was so plain. So of coarse I didnt pay for it, I drew that muufucka out and What you see up above is the tat that I came across... but on steriods
I beefed it up!
first:
i put a random texture design inside the 4 large points of the largest star
second:
i wrote the date of my birthday between the pisces symbol and the largest star (3/16)
third:
i managed to evenly circle the 8-point star with 16 small stars which represents 16 days of the month in which I was born.
forth:
i added 3 skullheads which represents March, the 3rd month of the year and the month I was born and if you look at the skullhead at the bottom and look at its eyez, you'll see the number '89 which is, you've guessed it, the year I was born in.
fifth:
I decided to add a design of a strip of barbed wire at the bottom along with the 3rd skullhead because I ran outta ideas and I felt that the tattoo as a whole wouldn't be balanced without some kind of design placed in that location, it looks cool for right now. i might change it later on though.
I'm still thinkin of things that I could add, but as of now, I'm straight with it. The only thing thats left for me to determine now is the location and how large I want it to be.
So what'cha think?

No More Domino's For Me

This hits home for me because i actually eat Domino's (well, not anymore after watching this) but it's not because i thought they had the best pizza, i just had to settle for their "shit" because we dont have a real Pizza Hut around this town.

and i dont want this to be a race thing

BUT!!!

only white people would actually sabotage people's food for no reason and then showcase the crime all over the web. and then they do it as if they're untouchable, like they will never reap the consequences for this which explains the smiles on their faces

Can't Knock MTV For This

These are the 5 stars of the new MTV show "Taking The Stage".
Jasmine (Middle)
A top flight ballerina who dreams of attending New York performing arts conservatory The Juilliard School after graduating from SCPA.
Mia (Far Right)
A singer-songwriter whose talent is matched only by her drive and her goal is to be signed by the time she is 18.
Tyler (Right)
A gifted hip-hop dancer, new to SCPA with his little brother Chris (also a dancer) and attracts attention from everyone at the school.
Malik (Left)
Jasmine’s best friend and leads the school’s only hip-hop dance group, “The Definition.” In addition to his formidable dance skills, he is also a talented choreographer and a singer/songwriter.
Shaakira (Far Left)
A dancer and aspiring actress, she is also an accomplished ballet dancer, one of the best SCPA has ever produced, but she prefers hip-hop dance and is a member of Malik’s camp.
Of coarse this is a reality show, which has become typical for this channel, which i really don't understand because the shit is called MTV(Music TeleVision), not RTV (Reality TeleVision) and more than half of the show don't even relate to music at all!
This show, on the other hand, not only showcase music, but art as a whole (Visual, Dance, Poetry, etc...) and it has caught my attention.
These kids attend SCPA, a prestigious school that draws young people from all backgrounds dedicated to pursuing careers in the arts. The school has track record of producing some of the entertainment industry’s most knowned dancers, singers and musicians like...
Sarah Jessica Parker (Sex and the City)
Carmen Electra (Starsky & Hutch)
actor/director Todd Luiso (High Fidelity)
actor Rocky Carroll (NCIS)
singer Nick Lachey.
SCPA is not the average high school and gaining entrance is not an easy task, as every student must audition before being accepted. The curriculum is so rigorous, that the students who have been there the longest call themselves “survivors.” Honing their skills will take everything they have but to achieve it they will have to focus all their energy and make sacrifices along the way.
While they are some of the most talented teenagers in the country, they will still have to navigate the same trials and insecurities that all teenagers face which are obstacles that threaten their chances at success. The enormous pressure to make good grades, demanding rehearsal schedules, changing friendships and first loves, will keep them striving to find balance. As these rising stars pursue their goals, cameras will be there to capture the ups and downs, the adulations and tears, and that moment when they risk it all to take the stage and claim it as their own.

Dunk #3 (Got Purp?)

My next purchase...
These are called the NIKE DUNK HIGH PRO SB UN HEAVENS GATE, but that takes too long to say so Imma call them the "IVAN OOZE'S" lol. For those of you who don't who that is and why I'm naming them that... You must've been living under a rock during your childhood...

because in the 90's, the Power Rangers was boomin'-n-bunkin' and in '95, they came with a bomb-ass movie which featured this guy who planned to take over the world with his "purple stuff" lol. So when I saw these dunks, that was the first thing that came to my mind.

Oh yea, btw... Shouts out to Big Boi for this album too...

4-Day Recap

It has been brought to my attention [LIEU!] that have been slackin on the blog again. This is true.... but these past 4 dayz has been cool for me so imma give yall the rundown on what happened....

Wednesday (3.11.09)

Around 8pm, me and 3 of my amigos, Terry, Gerald, and Amanda decided to go bowling and, i can't speak for them, but I had a blast. We played 2 games and Gerald won the first and Amanda got the second. And how did I do you ask?? I sucked, put it that way, but no worries because as soon as I find my form, I'm shuttin shit down, lol. Next time should be an even bigger party....

Thursday (3.12.09)

I was listening to Micheal Biasden on the radio and they on subject of "Sex-addicts" and whats the difference between them and a "Player" or a "Round-the-way Girl". This caught my ear because I wanted to know what category I was in, lol jk. Also, they was on the subject of females on the "DL" and why is it more acceptable than when a guy is on the DL. I'm not gonna get into it fully because that's just too much to talk out about, but I know I don't approve of it regardless of how much I like the idea of it...

Remember These???

Well just as I suspected, I was out-bidded on these shoes on Ebay so after class, I went to Athlete's Foot to purchase them [they feel so good on my toes, lol]. After that, I met up with Terry and Gerald to hit up IHOP. I had a craving for steak, eggs and cheese grits so that's what I got mmmmmmm-MMMM! I thought I was gonna have to walk out without paying because I thought lost my debit card, but it was under the seat in my car so it was all good. I later dropped bombs in the toilet when i got home.

Friday (3.13.09)

I decided to start my spring break a little early so I skipped class and stayed home. Being that spring is kickin in, that means the pollen is kickin in so I went up to Target to get me some Claritin, then I did my usual walk-thr though the electronics when I saw this...

A 32' Phillips LCD Television
Original Price: $599
Price Cut: $549
Clearance Price: $494
[My Price: $426]

Good deal right? I guess you can call this my early birthday gift from me to me. With this purchase, it completes my list of my hunt for electronics..
Microsoft Zune: check
Xbox 360: check
Gateway Laptop: check
GPS Navigation: check
Blackberry Storm: check
LCD Television: check

While in the process of buying this TV, me and this white made eye contact for like 2secs then I looked away and she walked off. A minute later she approached me and we had a brief convo...

lady: hi
me: hey, how r u?

lady: fine, how old r u?
me: 19 [at this point, i'm thinking she's tryna holla, i'm glad i was wrong, lol]

lady: is there any chance that u might be interested in the national guards?
me: Naaaaaw [as i looked away]

lady: is there any chance that u might be interest in going to college?
me: i'm currently in college now

lady: are u interested in money for paying for college and having extra money in your pocket?
me: umm yeah

lady: well the national guards is a gret place to be in, u only work once a month, u get to shoot a M-16 and bootcamp is nothing but a 2 1/2 month-long camping trip.
me: i'm sure it is

lady: so r u interested?
me: yes

and she gave me a brochure and a football and I gave her my number and she said they might contact me soon.... Money looks good to me right about now so I wouldn't going with them, we'll see what happens.

Once i got home, I hooked up my TV and I invited Amanda over so we could kick it and so she can watch Knocked Up for the first time.

Saturday (3.14.09)

This night, I went to the movies to see "The Last House on th Left". Pretty dope movie, I give it 2 thumbs up.

God's Greatest Creation

Tunes by Kid Cudi - "Super Boo"

But the challange is... Will you be able to pay attention to the song while watching the Vid?

Check it.....

'

The only flaw of this Vid is that........... there's no "Real Sistas"/black women featured in it and that is what crave the most...

Dunk #2 (Got My Eye On'em)

Not sure what these called exactly, but... I know they are dunks though. Imma call them "Wolverines" for the the character in the old X-men cartoons and also because of the school colors of the University of Michigan, which they also have the mascot of a wolverine.

I came across these on Ebay yesterday, and immediately fell in like with them. The highest bid on them was like $10.40 so I trumped that with a whopping $12.00 and I am still the highest bidder as we speak or as I am typing now. The ending time isn't until thursday so you gotta know that some hater is gonna come around and fuck it up by bidding higher than that, but I have a plan...

See, today after class, I randomly drove through a plaza after gasing up the Altima, when I finally found my favorite shoe store in the south [ATHLETE'S FOOT!] You just don't know how long I've been looking for one these stores in Savannah and now I've found it, BWAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

Anyway....

So I'm in the store when I saw these same shoes along with some other fly ass dunks and a plethora of other fly ass kicks, but the dunks are going for $80 (a reasonable price). So the plan is, whenever this asshole come around between now and thursday and screw up my deal with ebay (which would most likely happen, I might be a hater myself and make them pay more for them than what they're really worth by doing those dollar extra bids XD haha), then I'll go to my spot and purchase them on friday, but if I do luck up on Ebay, then I will get them on there.

I'll let'chu know the results by the end of the week...

When Hip-Hop Was Balanced

So yesterday, I was feeling a little homesick so being that I'm currently unabled to go back right now, I decided to watch a music video to take me back...

So I know what you're thinking..
"Here this nigga go again, talking about how much he love his city"

Well... Naw, not this time. When I watched this video, I realized that around that time it dropped, Hip-Hip was so balanced...

[The year was 2001]

When the radio wasn't putting out constant bullshit,
The game wasn't oversaturated with one region of Hip-Hop,
Every region of Hip-Hop was putting out good music...
Everybody was reppin where they was from freely,
Everybody was expressing they own culture freely,
Everybody had they own dance lol,
And most of all...
There was almost no disrespect/beef and every region showed their gratitude amongst each other.

Even though I'm originally from "da souf (YEEEAAAAHHH!!!)", which is the region that's taking over right now, I'm not fully satisfied with it being like that. I know there was a time where music from the south wasn't respected AT ALL and that I should be glad that we're finally on top, but I feel that there needs to be a balance.

2001... Will Hip-Hop ever get back to this point??
P.S: I think I'm gonna hold off my trip back home until the Summer :(

A Kid Named Cudi

I would say that things are looking up for hip-hop this year...

"When I would play my shit for people, they would say 'Yo! like... why yo shit sound so different, like... Why is it different', and I would always say to them 'Why not?'"
-Kid Cudi

This guy goes by the name of Kid Cudi. He, along with them boyz B.o.B, Charles Hamilton, Asher Roth Wale, Currency and Cory Gunz are considered to be the future of Hip-Hop, Up until this point, I've only been on B.o.B and C. Hamilton and a tad bit of Asher and C. Gunz, but I've now added this guy to the list.

Why you asked??

Because apparently, I seem to like artist who are mult-talented and and that's what he is. He raps along with singing and producing. He's now signed with Mr. West's GOOD Music Record Label and has an album coming out this summer. I recommend that you check him out..

Download and Enjoy :)

This Day Has Come..

March 5th, 2009

In case you've been living under a rock this past month, today is the day of Chris Brown's Hearing in court for allegedly bruatally abusing Rihanna. There has been lots of speculations and rumors going around about what actually happened. Here's the real story....

And here's footage of the hearing courtesy of TMZ

It's funny, because after watching this and seeing his face, to me, he all of a sudden looks like he has it in him to hit a woman. Up into this point, I couldn't picture it, but I do now after hearing the details. I'm not gonna speak on it though.

Bizkit the Sleep Walking Dog

I bet when he's awake, he's a winner..

Whats Been Up

Aight for these past couple of days, I haven't been on this thing, but I'm back and now and Imma tell you about a couple things that I've up too...

This past Saturday (2/28/09), my unk came in town for my lil bro's belated birthday and while he was here, we decided to go bowling and out to eat. In total, it was six of us...

Me
Zach (lil bro)
Mom
LJ (My mom's friend)
Unk and
Sharen (his friend)

On the way to the place, the guys (except me) was talkin big shit like "Ya'll can't beat me in anythin", "Just call me the Bowling King", "Imma all-around skillful person" etc., etc. Against the guys, my mom was only one holdin her own for the ladies (even though it was only just two of them) in the argument and when we got there, she wiped the floor with us, ALL OF US!!! I just didn't understand what was going on. How can somebody who rarely goes out, let alone go out to bowl, could be so damn good?! But then again, she was born in that era where there wasn't really any electronic toys to keep kids inside the house so to have fun, she played all the sports (basketball, baseball, pool, tennis, etc) and I guess all of that skill just stuck with her after all these years. Here's a little footage of what I'm talking about....

You see what I'm saying? It's like she wasn't even trying. She won the first 2 games, the first game I came in 2nd with 112, but she had 134 (Not scores that you would see from real bowling professionals, we all suck compared to them, lol) and the 2nd game, she was the only one to bust over 100, I fell off and everybody else stunk too. Then the 3rd game Unk won in a nail-biter with who else than my mom. We had fun that night and if was fun with family, I can only imagine how it would be with friends (hint, hint, wink, wink, nudge, nudge, kick, kick, SLAP!)

Then yesterday (3/2/09), I made my first purchase on ebay...

If you are a sneaker-head, then you should already know what these are. In case you don't, then these are the Nike Dunk High Venoms. They are named Venoms because they are apart of an superhero collection. Anybody who read comics, or watch old superhero cartoons or watched the last Spiderman man movie know that the counterpart to Spiderman is Venom so these shoes are a counterpart to these...

I'm thinking about gettin these as well. You might be witnessing a dunkhead in the making...

C. Hamilton Vs. Fan

"Not Shoppin' that Hot Topic.... Like you might" LOL

Aint nothin wrong with that though

Brotherly Love

This... uuuuhh.... gentleman right here is my lil bro and I'm just taking the time out to acknowledge his birthday, which was yesterday (2/25/09). I know some you are out there thinking...

"Well if you're supposed to be his big bro and his birthday was yesterday, WHY DA FUCK YOU DIDN'T POST THIS... oh I don't know... YESTERDAY?!?!".

Well, hey!! wait a minute bitch!! [sorry, just had an katt williams moment there]
I didn't do it yesterday because I had a better thing to do which was hang with him. He is now 12, just one year away from being a teen... Damn time sure flys. I'm gonna sound like a parent by saying this, but

"It seems like it was only yesterday...."

When i taught this lil man how to walk and speak even though I was only like 8 at the time. Mom was a working mom and we started seeing less of pops after he was born, so somebody had to teach'em right?! I think T.I. said it best when he stated "In da South, you grew up quick, Especially in the ATL" But when I first reached my teens, I was heading down some dark paths and even though I probably wasn't too quick to realize that, lil man probably knew because he was watching me. It wasn't until I moved to this here dry-ass town, where it ain't that many distractions whatsoever, that noticed that I wasn't that much of an influence to my lil bro as I've should've been. Plus, in almost 5 years now, we've only seen our pops twice and he seems like don't even have the strength to pick up the phone to see about his own blood either, but I aint gonna get into all that... So I made a promise to him, Zachery, not Zachary[get it right], my lil bro, that as I grow and become more knowledgeble about life, if he ever needs anything, he could always come to me because for one, he is as green as i dont know what and two, I was into alot more things when I was his age than he is now so whatever he's doing deff aint new to me.

Now I told him this when he wasn't even ten years of age, but til this day, he always keep that in mind. I know this cuz my mom always tell me to be mindful on what I say to him cuz he'll come to me more than he'll come to her about something.

I got'chu Ma and as long as I got breath in this 5'8, 153lb.(yea i've gained 3 pounds btw, lol) body, I'll be there to take him under my wing.

Love you Zach and Happy Birthday!!

Cha-Ching Pt. 3/Finale

So now I can let out my situation since its over now...

well on saturday night, I was on BOA to check my money out when I saw that a total of $6,025.29 was dumped in my account.

WHAT!!!!

At first I thought I logged into someone elses account because that aint mines nor did I know where it came from, but nope, on the header on my account, it read my name. I've probably have never in my life had so many mixed feelings...

1) Happy, shocked and suprised because of the money and ammount.
2) Paranoid and feared that the law might think that i stole it and
3) Mad because I thought some random person had access to my account and I was thinking that as easy as he/she could put money in my account, he/she could easily take it all out with additions to my money as well)

So then I checked my transitions and found that it was someone's tax returns so now I'm thinking "ok cool, what now?" I went to the lady who brought me into this world, my oracle, for advice and she gave different senarios on what I could do like

1) Spend it
2) Taking the out so I can have it on had (which i didn't think that would be a good idea cuz it ain't notelling what I would do if I had that money directly in my hand)
3) Take it out and go to another bank and open up another account to place it in
4) Split it with her, lol
5) Save it

but she stated the fact of the matter remained: "If and when the bank find their mistake, all they gonna do is void those checks regardless if you were to spend it or take it out or not. If you were to spend it all and they was to void that money then you would have a huge overdraft fee." So I decided to wait a week or two to see what was gonna happen and if the bank never takes it out then most likely I'm home free, but mom dukes highly doubted that that was gonna happen and what do you know? She was right... As of this morning, all that money had vanished.

I was so pissed. I mean, I know none of it was my money, but still, you just don't throw that kinda money someone's(mines) account and think that a nigga like me ain't gonna be tempted to spend it. It's not like I asked for that shit! What would you have did if this happened to you, if was just minding you business one day and BLAM, suddenly you're a multi-thousand-aire?! LMAO.

But yea, I'm currently in the process of getting over this, just realizing that this is just one of my "it's too good to be true" moments

Cha-Ching Pt. 2?

Question...
Can money really fall out the sky and randomly land into someone's lap?
I asked because it, sure as hell, happened to me!!
well, money literally didn't get "rained" on me, but you get the point, right?
I can't really go indepth with my situation...
at least not publically.
I know an mistake happened somewhere along the line
or maybe...
It's a gift from the man upstairs
who knows?
I don't, but I hope that that's what it is...
We'll see

High from the CHRONIC

As you been for almost 5 years now, Dr. Dre is coming out with Detox. Some may beleive that, some my not. I, for one, am a believer now. Yesterday, I was surfing on my usual hip-hop sites when i came across this song by the name of "Topless" by Dr. Dre ft. T.I. and Nas. An unexpected, but great collab, right?? but it's wierd. On the song, you only hear Dre on the chorus, BUT, T.I. is spittin on the first verse and he starts off saying "It's da D.R." and makes other references to da "Westside" and I don't think he's talking about the westside of atlanta. Could it be that he has ghost-written for the Doc? I'm hearing that he did (kinda like how eminem did for dre in the new track "crack a bottle" before it offically came out) and is gonna rap his own verse on the final version. Both artist murked this track btw...
Check it out and you be the judge....

http://www.defsounds.com/

Had enough?? Well I got another one for ya by the name of "shit popped off". It's kinda of the same concept. For the first verse T.I. seems to be rapping for Dre, but this time on the second verse, he's spittin his own shit. This track is the shit to me as well.
But you be the judge....

http://www.defsounds.com/

Now Idk if someone leaked this or if he did this on purpose to build up hype and I don't even see that as being necessary because Detox has been the most anticipated album for forever and a day now. All I wanna know now is.... Where da fuck da CHRONIC at cause i feel like getting blitzed, LOL. JK yall

Sketch #1

aight, for those of you who don't know who da fuck this is, He's BOB!! lol. an up and coming artist that favors hip-hop from Atlanta
I say "favors hip-hop" because he loves to mix different genres, whether it be blues, rock, techno, jazz, etc.., but he always make sure hip-hop is always in the equation. and it sounds great!!!!!!!!!!!
At least to me.
Now, I'm somewhat of and artist too... in the drawing category... when i feel like being one, lol. I could do alotta things with art, like paintings, oil pastels, cartoons, but my forte is sketching portraits.
Up into this point, I've only sketched hip-hop artists who are well established like 50 cent, Lloyd Banks, T.I, Eminem, Outkast, Jay-z, people like that so that whenever I showcase it, the people who see could recognize the person in the portrait and knows who he/she is..
Well I've went against the grain and sketched someone who people wouldnt normally recognize, this guy BOB!!
Wasn't really gonna show it off... hell... Just drawing it, period, was a splur-in-the-moment thing [Extreme Boredom]
But yea, I wasn't gonna show it off because
1) You may not know who it is
2) I haven't drawn anything in over a year so I'm kinda rusty
3) I'm just not really a "Show of my work" type of a nigga and I just for me personally
...But i think its time to stop being selfish and be open for criticism
(after all, I am opened-minded)
....Well here is the picture i was focusing on (Courtesy of XXL Magazine)

And here's my drawing....

It took me like 25-30mins to get the basic down (head shape, facial) and took me bout 40-45 mins for shading.

But something aint right about it, it seems... off (for lack of a better word)

A lil help?

And what'cha think about it??

(Feel free to say how you feel cuz I ain't that nig that's sensitive about his work. I can take the bad criticism chin up too cuz I beleive that makes me focus better on producing better pieces, dig?! so fire away...)

Can't Get Enough Of This!!

After watching this video over like 25 times, I've realized something... After Shaq leaves, the game just wont be the same any more. He's been in the league for over 15 year and he's always kept real... i mean, I'm not pyschic, but you know how you can look at someone's demeanor and just can tell that they're kinda lame?? well that's how I feel about 98 maybe 99% percent of the players in the NBA with the other 1 or 2% being "Shaqtus", "CP3", "KG" and "AI" and maybe 1 or 2 more people I just can't think of right now. There's entirely too much whinning, acting, faking in the league today, but those 4 'I've just named aren't apart of it. Shaq makes the game more worth watching and he kept it fun, prime example being the all-star game. If you take Shaq outta the equation including his "ABDC" moment (shown up above), that game wouldn't have been that good all. He's a guy that has, along with his huge physique, a huge heart, never disrespected anybody, never had a dispute outside the court. He just is a genuine nice guy, but would easily you know whenever you step outta line or if you come at him unprofessionally and the gome needs more of that, waaaay more. That's why he's one of my favorite NBA players and that's why he'll be missed when he's gone.

Mines... ALL MINES

Just made the final payment on this thing here so that's an extra $300 in bank, but somehow know that cash is gonna go to some else because this situation just seem too good to be true and whenever it gets like that, something bad happens (I'll elaborate on a later post). Anyway, this car was given to me from my Unk as a graduation present, but there was a catch. He wasn't gonna make payments on this car and his newly bought Nissan Titan so since May of 2007, I've been doing it. 22 months times the 300 that I was paying a month means that I've put $6,600 into this car. Think I'm about sale this now???

SHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIII'D!!

but then again... $6,600 (or $7,500, gotta make some profit) coming to me in a huge lump-sum wouldn't be bad either now that I think about it. I figure I could sell it, get about $7,000-$7,500 back, buy a brand new car and make payments on it, move in to an apartment (witha roommate of coarse, any takers?? lol), and I'll still be working so that kind of money could stretch pretty far, dig?! but that's just me thinking out loud, because I know this kind of process would take alotta time as well as hustle so instead of doing all of that, I'm just gonna keep it, maybe save it for Zach (my lil bro who's gonna be 16 in 4yrs from now) when I'm done with it and buy a brand new car probably a year or 2 from now.

2/14

So tomorrow is Valentine's Day, right? Normally I'm not too stoked about this time of the year and I almost NEVER have a date to share my generosity with, as a matter of fact, the fraction of how many Valentine Dates I've had throughout my life over how many Valentines Days I've lived through including this year is a mere 4/20, but have a date tomorrow. Some of you may know her, some of you dont. She is someone who, once upon a time ago, lived in this town of bluffton and once was my woman, but that didnt last and she moved away 2years ago. We still kept in touch though and we're still cool til this day. Tonight, she's coming in town and for once, I'm thinkin very highly of V-Day mainly because of the gift I'm gonna receive. Now I'm not gonna speak on it, but the photo on your right should give you a pretty good idea and for the record...

IT WASN'T MY IDEA, but in the same breath, I ain't gonna turn it down either, LOL.

and in return, all she wants from me is some "Chocolate Banana Glam Pie Hi Pastrys"... These to be exact

Good Deal, dont'cha think?

Radio Killa-Killa

Here's The-Dream's latest single...

When Dream first came out, I thought he was Jazze Pha's lil brother cuz
1) they kind favor eath other
2) Pha was in that "Shawty is the Shit" video so i thought he was Pha's protege.

Also when he first came out video, I thought he wasn't gonna last long, but after giving him a few listens and listening to his 1st album, I must say, he's actually pretty talented.

I think charles hamilton said it best...

"Idk what it is about this dude's music, but whenever it comes on in the club or anywhere, I find myself falling in lust with the next attractive female that I see."

Too true Charles... Too true, at least for me and strangely enough, I kinda like that kinda music!!! LOL

So when March 10th rolls around, I will be purchasing that album entitled "Love Vs. Money"

Chris "Smackdown" Brown

Speculations arose, and rumors were running rampant last night during the grammys, but it now appears, according to TMZ, that Mr. Brown allegedly assaulted his girlfriend, Rihanna. He was charged with Assault With A Deadly Weapon, a felony and no further details have been released, other than the victim in this case was Robyn Fenty, better known as Rihanna.

"After stopping his car, Brown and the woman got out and the argument escalated," the Los Angeles police Department said. "The woman suffered visible injuries and identified Brown as her attacker."

Brown was released after posting $50,000 bail and neither performer made it to the Grammy's last night.

Representatives for Rihanna would not confirm nor deny the incident but did say, "Rihanna is well. Thank you for the care and support."

Damn, if all this is true, which i find very hard to beleive, then he could just "kiss kiss" all his endorsements and potentially his career goodbye. He's already been suspended from Wrigley's ad campaign for Doublemint gum. Even though the incident didn't happen more than 24 hours ago, and he has not been proven guilty, the company is already taking action. Wrigley said in a statement, "We have made the decision to suspend the current advertising featuring Brown and any related marketing communications until the matter is resolved."

"You're Cold As Ice!!!"

So, on thursday (2/5/09) while kickin it on campus, I received a text from an old lady friend, actually probably the first person I'd met when I moved to this town of bluffton, and I was kinda happy to hear from her since, i think, graduation. We got caught up on some things, like she didn't know I was still residing in bluffton and vice versa. She made the request that we, me & her, should get up some time so I'm like "cool".

Well that day came and it was on that next day, Friday (2/6/09). She suggested that we should grab a bite to eat around 5pm and I was up for it, but plans got canceled, yet later that night, she paid me a visit. Everything was cool, the vibe was cool, we was just kicking it, talking and whatnot and that was it. She left around 11 and about 5mins after she left my house I get a text from her saying "Damn, I think you sparked up that crush again that I had for you back in the day, lol"... Really?? so I replied back saying "yea i felt the vibe between us"... i really didn't kno what else to say because I wasn't expecting a statement like that after just one night...

So yesterday, Saturday (2/7/09), she hits me up again, say that we should catch a movie... "Fine with me", I said. We went to go see "Taken" around 9:10pm... The movie was actually kinda good, a lot of action, a lot chops/punches in to the neck which made me chuckle, but it was kinda short too. We left like around 10:45pm. Being that my car was parked closer to the theater and hers' was parked all the way by Outback, instead of walking her to her car, I drove her (I know, I'm such a gentleman). We hugged and then we made our departure. As I'm driving down bluffton parkway, I get a text from her asking

"Would it have been unladylike if I had kissed you?"

I really didnt know the answer to that question because i dont know the symptoms of being unladylike. I thought it just was when female burped or farted in public or something like that, lol. While I was still tryna figure what to say, she sends me another text saying...

"I'm sorry, I'm just feeling you alot more than you're feeling me..."

this is true. now don't get me wrong, there's nothing really wrong with this girl, and I love the company of females, but I just ain't the type that fall quick because when I do fall, I fall hard. I'm real slow with developing feelings, in fact, it's kinda of a long process for me to even feel anything about someone. but is that a problem?? is it Me?? I'm I being too guarded or is she being too fast?? I ask because this isn't the first this done happened, where I would hangout with a lady a couple times and she would feel something for me, but soon she would be upset when she finds out that I don't feel the same way. Shit... I ain't gone lie to'em. I've been told that I have a cold heart because of this, but I'm a strong beleiver that you like someone as a friend, but you can't just "make" yourself fall "in like" with someone, no matter how nice they are. If you diggin'em, then you're diggin'em and if you aint, then you aint, right?

This Just In...

Consider that beef with between bow wow and soulja boy squashed...

a little disappointed because it seemed like it was about to get good, but glad these guys talked it out like men for once...

speaking of getting good, this 50 vs. Ross beef... Ross must tryna commit suicide or something fucking with Fif

Then 50 got Ross' baby mama to sit down with him to expose him...

Damn, after all that 50 takes her on a shopping spree... Ross dunn made some good music in the past, but I think he's done now. Even the game is siding with 50!!!

Friday, February 6, 2009

What the Hell?!?!

I was surfing on my usual hip-hop sites for news and new music when I made a discovery.... A new beef is born people and I'm not talkin about the Ross Vs 50 beef, but the Soulja boy-Bow wow beef. I could've sworn these niggaz was the best of friends with that "marco-polo" shit and this thing was all fun and games at first, but now it's turned up.

I guess I'll feel you in for those who don't know what happened...

SB have this thing on Youtube called "Rich Nigga Shit" and on one of his episodes, he was flexing his newly bought Lambo and challenged Bow wow to a race with their Lambos on the line and that was it. BW came out with a reply like a day later and basically shitted on SB talking all this shit about how his Lambo looks better, which it does, and that Arab, SB's bestfriend, and SB are butt-buddies and shit of that nature.

Aroung this time I'm thinking "damn, these niggas really ain't got shit better to do... sigh, i wish i had that much green"

So SB came back with a reply saying that BW's Lambo is rented and asked him to show the papers for it and that was about it. BW came back and not only showed the papers for his Lambo, but he was talking more shit saying that when he win the race, he'll take SB's Lambo and drive it up and down the street of Bankhead(Atlanta) and that he was just gonna leave it there thinking that SB is never going back to atlanta because he can't and that he's scare to go back.

so SB took that personal and said this...

Now I really don't like neither one of them, but SB got a point...
1. Naming your album after a classic movie when you're not a classic artist is setting yourself up for failure.
2. When somebody come to you and tell you about a personal situation, it's just unethical for you to flip-flop that shit, air it out all over youtube and make a joke about it.

honestly i think both their careers are soon gonna be over..

**This just in, Bow Wow has came out with another in response to the video up above...

i hope some good music comes out of this, but then again, i forgot who i was talking about

Da Drought

Yea, so i've been on a lil bit of a drought on bloggin as of a couple days now... not because i dont want to, not because i didnt feel like it, but because i was completely occupied with accounting. i had this test today and wheneva i have a test in this class, i basically block everything out to study. Suprisingly, it was easy. The professor thinks she slick. See, this test was based on chapters 2 and 3 in the book and before a test, she would give us these online homework assignments and quizes for each chapter and all she did was pull questions from each chapter quiz, which i basically memorized by heart, and put them on the test. That was odd because she never did it before.. hmmmm... So im breezing through it (its multiple choice btw), but what was starting to throw me off was that more than half of the correct answers on test was (A) as if "OJ the Juiceman" designed the test (Aye!!) lol, so i'm like

"damn, some of these can't be right cuz it's too many A's on this MF",

but i double checked them and i'm confident that they right and i still managed to be the 2nd person to finish. i'm pretty sure i prefect score plus the bonus question she gave us, which we actually had to create an income statement and im positive i got that right too. so i left the room with my chest out, head held high with a smile on my face until i remembered..

"shit, i forgot my fitted in that bitch"

so i had to double back. after that i went to mcdonalds to find out these MF's don't even sale mcdoubles, never even heard of it...

*at the drive thru... "FUCK YOU MEAN 'YALL AINT GOT NO MCDOUBLES'!!!!"* lol

didnt feel like explaining THEIR OWN SHIT to them so i got the double cheeseburger and called it a day. that was my day, how was urs?

Dem Peaches O.o

"Now I ain't got no problems with gurls up in Harlem"... or Brooklyn... or Cali... or Florida... or any other gurl from across the world, but... IT AIN'T NOTHIN LIKE A GEORGIA GURL!!!

They don't call GA the "Black Man's Paradise" for nothing. Along with buying a lot of things for cheap, the night life and the job opportunities in GA, the women are there reason why guys would not only want to go visit, but they would want to live there. The ratio from women to men, or I should say from women to straight men who ain't in jail are high so for those of you who are infatuated with black women, but are picky, they have a huge variety of women from dark chocolate to the ones who juuust off-white and they are women of phenomenal sizes as well.

If you are a breast man, they have women that have some of the biggest and i would say 7-8 times outta 10, they're natural because one, majority of black are not into plastic surgery and two, they are almost fully developed in such young ages like 11 and 12 years old!! If you an ass man, like myself, GA have women with asses that makes you wonder... "HOW?" because they can get so big to where it don't even look like it's proportionate to the rest of their body. Its not uncommon, though, that the women have both features who are defined as "stallions" or "great danes"

So now you're probably thinking "Well, I've heard about their bodies, what about the face?"

Some of the prettiest, most innocent looking faces you've ever seen and for that reason along with their soft and sweet southern accents, you got to be on guard when you first meet them because you could easily get hustled from their seduction, especially if you meet someone from the hood. To get with them, you have to be on top of your game, no half-stepping because some of them wont hesitate to hurt your feelings, but when they're with you, they hold you down to the max and thats why I love'em all.

I wrote this blog because for 15 years straight, I was spoiled with having these women around every direction I turned to look and since I've been in Bluffton, it's just aint been the same plus I'm a lil homesick and ultimately, that's where my heart is. Hopefully, I'll be there when I get out for spring break, which is the week of my b-day, to gobble me up another peach, XD lol

Update on the Weight

Remember when I was telling yall about that assignment I had to do for health class???

Huh???

Well it was due today and I found out some things about myself... First, I found out what's the standard caloric intake for a guy (1800 calories/day) and for ladies (1200 calories/day). Then I found out how much calories that "I'm" supposed to take in daily. It's all calculated by your age, weight, height and your level of activity. I'm 19 years of age (soon to be 20 next month), about 150lbs, 5'8" tall and I just started to partake in some physical activities so with all of that calculated, I am supposed to take in 1734 calories/day for me to maintain my weight which is close to the standard amount.

Now to gain weight??? It works like this...

If you want to gain body weight, you need to consume more calories than you burn. One pound of body weight is roughly equivalent to 3500 calories, so eating an extra 500 calories per day will cause you to gain one pound a week. So being that my daily caloric intake for me to maintain my weight is 1,734, I’ll have to take in 2,234 calories a day to gain.

I also did my daily calorie log and it went like this...

Thurday: 1874 total calories (maintaining)
Friday: 1430 total calories (sub-par, don't know what happened on this day, lol)
Saturday: 1788 total calories (maintaining)
Sunday: 2534 total calories (gained)

I guess the issue is me being inconsistant with eating. If only I could eat a lil bit more of that juicy thing as shown up about (mmmmmmmm..... Steak!!!!) and with there being six more weeks of winter, maybe I could accomplish gaining 20 pounds before summer rolls around. I'm on a mission now and as a matter of fact, my belly is telling me to get the fuck of this thing and fill'er up!! lol

CHA-CHING!!!

I feel just like this guy, but only blacker, LOL!!

Just a couple of minutes ago, I was on bankofamerica.com just to check and see how much money I had in my account because i got paid yesterday. Being that I only work weekends now, I knew that my check wasn't be that much considering, but I wanted to see how much i had any way. Well I opened up my account to see a whopping 4 digits in it, that's a whole digit extra than what I was expecting to see. It turns out that I got my tax refunds yesterday as well courtesy of Mr. Barnwell. Now my head is kinda hurting because its overloaded with thoughts of things that I wanna buy (T.V., clothes, shoes, games, rims and audio system for the whip, a personal refrigerator, more clothes and shoes and even a prostitute.... SHIIII'D, LMFAO). I feel sooo good right now, it's almost like waking up late in the afternoon after a looong night, if you know what I mean... I might just need to save it all though for later as a backup or something. We'll see how long I can fight temptation...

Just as I suspected...

"Due to circumstances beyond my control...the album roll out has changed radically...LUPE.N.D. has been postponed indefinitely!!!
As a matter of fact consider it cancelled until further notice!!!"

I guess thats like a trend for successful artists, just make niggas wait for your shit, huh??

But...

He's actually coming out with an ablum in June entitled "The Great American Rap Album" It consists of 11 tracks and the only track he's confirmed was the last track on the ablum, which is entitled "the greatest rap song ever made". With a title like this, I hope he doesn't disappoint, and more importantly, I hope this album is not just a "filler" or just some shit that he throws out without any effort to try to keep the audience satisfied until LUPE.N.D., but Lupe hasn't failed me yet...
I guess we'll have to wait til June.

No Pain, No Gain

Last night before I went out to wild wings, I went to Target to get the perfect push-up. I tested it this morning after eating some PB&J and it works good. I'm tryna stay active, but gain weight and tone up the body frame before it get hot and keep it maintained for here on out. This is a part of my new years resolution and I just started on it tuesday (Jan. 27) by almost killing myself by running. See, I figured, being that I am kinda skinny that I wasn't that much outta shape so I decided to take a jog around my neighborhood, not realizing how big the shit was. After like 7-10mins of running, i found myself sitting on the curb about 150feet away from my house, wheezing and shit, LMFAO!! Along with exercising, I'm taking a health class and right now I have an assignment that involves me looking up what diets you shoud take if you wanna gain weight, lose weight or maintain in general and for me specifically. Also, from today to sunday, I have to record what I eat and how much calories that I take in and find out whether if I'm taking in too much or not enough so this class, to me, is very beneficial.

Do What You Love

This song that I've just posted is entitle "Do what you love" by Charles Hamilton. I think this song is refreshing and I'm kinda infatuated with the chorus..

("love what you do and do what you love")

I always think a lot when I'm listenin to this song too, not necessarily about the song, but about what I love to do... Drawing. In fact, any form of art, whether it may be drawings, paintings, poetry, music, dance and etc., is like my life and I almost gave up on it!! See, after i graduated from highschool, I had the option to go in one of two directions, either the art world or the business world, which i kinda like too because of the math. I really wanted to go in the art direction, but I wasn't for sure what I wanted to do in that area and I know that there isn't a guarantee that I would get a high-paying job straight outta college, which was gonna be SCAD had i took that path. I just knew that I wanted to draw, but SCAD is way too expensive to be unsure on what you wanna be once you get out, you know? So now I'm on the business path, majoring in accounting and for a while, I had put down the HB, 2B and the 4B pencils and picked up the calculator until two girls on two different occassions approached me and asked me for a favor...

They heard that i was a pretty good artist and saw some of my work and both asked me to draw them up a tattoo and around this I wanted a tat bad as well so I say to them "ok", no big deal. But after thinking about it, having someone approach you and ask you to draw something for them so that they could potentially place it on their body for the rest of their lives is pretty dope. I started watching shows such as Miami Ink and LA Ink (reality shows about tattooists) and through those shows, I knew the purpose of tats and why people from all walks of life got them and I'm not even gonna mention how I feel about tats being on the female body O_0, lol. Suddenly, the light bulb above my head brightened...

I know what wanna do now!!!

I figure, if I could draw a tat on a piece of paper, why not on skin? But the plan is, imma still major in accounting, but imma minor in art so i can keep my skills sharp. Over the summer in 2010, I'm gonna intern for a company like DELL or MAC or some major company to develop a relationship so when i get out of college, I'll at least have a job in my pocket. While having that job, I will be going through the proper procedures to getting my license like aquiring my health license and shit of that nature. If all goes well after a few years of experience and with the skills that I develop in the business world, I will ultimately open my own tattoo parlor. So I guess, in the words of 50 Cent...

"I got a lot of living to do before I die and I ain't got time to waist... so let's make it"
